Romilly's Needlework Page: Embroidery

I do several different types of needlework. I design for counted cross stitch, but I also enjoy opus anglicanum (literal translation: English work), a form of medieval embroidery in use until about 1250; hardanger; and encroaching satin stitch/couching as found in the badges of Imperial China. In addition, I also crochet and knit a little, but embroidery has always been my first love.
