Back in the fall (2015) I started painting dancers in watercolor. For many years as a child I was in what can only be called a love triangle with dance and art. At the time, dance won for a variety of reasons. It’s only in the last few years that I’ve truly come home to painting and drawing.
Below is the time-lapse video of this painting. The original now lives with the local dancer who was the inspiration.
